Review: Allex

Blurb

Ever since the virus took our women, we’ve been searching. Searching for their 35149661magical gift to create new life. Searching for the fire in their eyes when they scream our names in the heat of passion.

So when I find Priya, a curvy, dark-eyed human stowaway, there’s only one thing on my mind. Do I care if I’m royalty and she’s a fugitive? Do I care if mating with her could risk everything?

Of course not.

The only thing I care about is caressing her delicious curves, opening her legs, and knowing the sweet, wet pleasure inside her. I couldn’t resist her pull even if I wanted to.

I’ll protect her from everyone, even my own people, even from the pirates trying to board our ship. I’ll protect her until my dying breath.

Bonding with her is forbidden. She’s going to be my mate.

Review

At the beginning of the story since I has been from auxem 1 book, it was a little repetitive for me, but it was nice that she thinks on explain all the situation just in case its the first time someone pick the book.

after that the plot began to thickens and oh wao poor Allex, I feel him so much being the baby of my family myself and yes I think it’s hard too after being certain person for so long to be yourself after but it’s not impossible.

The king did a good change on this one for the better at last, I was beginning to think maybe Arnon should usurp the trone by this point jajaja.

something I really like it’s that she connects her books well and you don’t get the feeling like i’m lost what is she talking about everything is well explained.

Now just one of the brothers is left and I know it will be a delicious story just as this one.

Reseña: Rebelión en la granja

Sinopsis

Review: IT a novel

Blurb

11381895It was the children who saw – and feel – what made the small town of Derry so horribly different. In the storm drains, in the sewers, IT lurks, taking on the shape of every nightmare, each one’s deepest dread.

Time passes and the children grow up, move away and forget. Until they are called back, once more to confront IT as it sirs and coils in the sullen depths of their memories, reaching up again to make their past nightmares a terrible present reality.

Review

It was amazing a truly good book, long yes but good enough to keep me reading and feeling a rollercoaster of feelings and emotions.

The book had this confusing things and scenes yes but like a whole is the story of a friendship so strong even when they couldn’t remember it well it was there, it gave me the feeling that the thing being tested all along on the book was human nature and relations more than anything, and damn, well Pennywise end was interesting, I would have prefer for it to win at the end,but that is just me.

I liked that King didn’t stop at anything, you have gross deaths, sex, crazy violence and an insurmountable friendship that transcended a lot of things like self preservation and all and the psychological horror so well known from Poe and Lovecraft.

A true thriller you can not just read but feel.

“War is the action taken to determine who has strength enough to live, and who has 30734821strength enough to die. Death can be the gateway to victory, but not all men are brave enough to face this truth.”

A dark and ancient magic has resurfaced upon Aersadore, and it serves the new lords of the elven nation. Disgraced and on a land far from home, Jikun yet finds himself in the midst of Sevrigel’s inner turmoil. When he accepts the siren call to rectify his past mistakes, he soon determines that to walk the path of the hero, he must first become the thief.

As Sevrigel’s new rulers exact genocide upon all who oppose them, the shadow of their reign takes shape. Their necromancer, whose name is spoken only in whispers, is rising in power, striking down all upon Ryekarayn who might dare to offer the elven nation aid. If Jikun wishes to secure his country’s future, he must first defeat the man who Ryekarayn has named Death itself.

Review

I was left breathless, I found more characters to love and the plot just thickens a lot in this one. betrayal on both sides, improbable allegiance and a lot of drama and warfare later I just need more of this story, because it cannot end like that.

I do thinks the series just engrained more in me. Vale and Adonis make me understood some things on the plot that made saebellus maybe a little comprehensible but he still’s a little contradictory and Jerah damn he is so cute I need more of him.

hopefully the 3rd book is not that long a wait.
